Amber & Chad are an awesome couple and we’ve been very fortunate to get to know them over the last few months. They both wanted a wedding with the feel of a tropical destination, and they did a fantastic job! With the upbeat music, bare feet on the beach, and hot weather we actually felt like we were on a tropical island. After a gorgeous ceremony we headed over to Camp Morton Park for some awesome romantic shots, and then we were off to the amazingly decorated Pavilion for a rockin’ reception. Thank you so much Amber & Chad for letting us share the day with you!

Back at the end of June, We joined Melissa & Darcy for their wedding in Winnipeg Beach and reception at the Lakeview Resort in Gimli. Melissa & Darcy are 2 wonderful people and we were honored to spend the day with them. Of course, in typical Gimli style, once the ceremony finished, the rain started. We don’t mind the rain at all, and Melissa & Darcy were no different. They weathered the downpour in great spirits and we got a ton of awesome photos throughout the day. We have a huge amount of favorite photos from the day, and rather than post a tiny tease, we thought we’d treat you all to a massive post of Melissa & Darcy’s wedding. Enjoy!

A short while ago we spent the day with Ryan & Terry in Arborg for their wedding. As everyone knows the weather has been fairly crazy here lately, and R & T’s wedding just happened to fall on what will probably be the hottest day this year, maybe the hottest day in the past few years! The humidex stayed in the high 30s all day, and although it was warm, Ryan & Terry’s outdoor ceremony went beautifully and we all had a blast at the beautiful (and air-conditioned!) Arborg Community Hall, where we enjoyed a great home-cooked Ukrainian dinner by Meleb Catering and a hoppin’ reception. Thanks Ryan & Terry for your wonderful hospitality and for letting us be part of your day!

The last senior portrait / grad session we shot in Saskatchewan was with Cali. Our travels included finding a reclining chair in a back alley in Estevan to having a train conductor slow down to watch us shoot just outside of Roche Percee. All in all it was an interesting day, and we had a ton of fun. Here are a few shots:

Our second senior portrait / grad session in Saskatchewan was in Stoughton with Colby. She hooked us up with a beautiful garden to shoot in, and aside from the hordes of ravenous vampire mosquitoes, we had a great time! Here are a few from that session: (Stay tuned for Session #3 coming soon!)
