A little over a week ago we met up with one of our wonderful wedding couples from 2009: Laura & Dennis. They wanted a fun family portrait session with their 2 adorable children Ava & Colten. We were happy to oblige, and we captured some great moments, especially between Ava and her baby brother Colten. It was great to see you all again, enjoy your photos!
We joined Vanessa & Steven for their wedding at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Winnipeg Beach last weekend. After the ceremony, Mother Nature decided that outdoor photos weren’t an option, and proceeded to drench us with pouring rain and gale-force winds. Again. Instead we headed to Playland downtown for some arcade games, pool, and all around fun! Special thanks goes out to Tony Pimentel for your hospitality, allowing us the use of the Playland facilities, and the delicious hotdogs! We headed over to Fraserwood Hall a bit early to warm up in front of the fireplace and shoot a few photos in the lounge before the party started. Congratulations Vanessa & Steven! Enjoy the photos!
Last Friday we set up our brand-new photo booth (Fun-Booth, Crazy-Booth, Awesome-Booth, Rock-Booth; whatever you want to call it) at Helen & Bruce’s wedding reception. The staff at the Marlborough Hotel were extremely helpful in providing a large area for it in the Skyview Ballroom and allowing us into room early in the morning to set up the booth. We weren’t sure exactly what the guest response would be, but it didn’t take long to find out… WOW! What a hit!!! Guests were crowded around it and they couldn’t get enough! Everyone had a blast and by the end of the night our cheeks and bellies hurt from laughing. Special thanks goes out to our awesome neice Kiaran for giving us a hand with the props and supervising everything; we couldn’t have done it without you!

We met up with Diane & Kyle yesterday when they made the trip out from Winnipeg with their 2 adorable dogs, Ray & Ella, for some evening engagment photos. We headed up to Camp Morton for a few shots on the beach and in the park, and eventually made our way south. We finished the day watching the gorgeous sunset in a wheat field. Thanks so much for coming out Diane & Kyle! We can’t wait for your wedding in a few weeks!
Amber & Chad are an awesome couple and we’ve been very fortunate to get to know them over the last few months. They both wanted a wedding with the feel of a tropical destination, and they did a fantastic job! With the upbeat music, bare feet on the beach, and hot weather we actually felt like we were on a tropical island. After a gorgeous ceremony we headed over to Camp Morton Park for some awesome romantic shots, and then we were off to the amazingly decorated Pavilion for a rockin’ reception. Thank you so much Amber & Chad for letting us share the day with you!
