Amanda & Kurtis ~ Engaged! ~ Engagement Photography

We met up with Amanda & Kurtis last week for their Engagement Session… They initially told us that they weren’t very romantic, but I certainly couldn’t tell! These two are so in love, and so perfect together! Here are a few of our favorite shots. We can’t wait for the wedding! Enjoy!

Excellent tones and comp. Very appealing. I especially like the use of available light, great focusing technique and your subjects appear natural and at ease. Nicely done.

Kristin & Sean Married! ~ Wedding Photography

We joined Kristin & Sean at Buffalo Point Resort on Lake of the Woods for their wedding in July. Kristin & Sean are such a wonderful couple, and they have such loving family and friends, who all pitched in to help with the wedding in some way. Kristin’s Makeup was provided by the talented Karen Hon of Shishay Studio, while Lee Green of Buffalo Point Resort went far above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It was interesting to know that were were so close to the US border; in fact, the photo on the park bench below is literally about 10 feet from the international boundary marker- a tiny medallion embedded in a boulder on the lake shore.

We’re so lucky to have spent the weekend with Kristin, Sean, & their families, and we’re grateful for the wonderful hospitality that Lee and all the staff at Buffalo Point Resort showed us. We hope to spend more time there, at weddings, or maybe just relaxing! For now though, enjoy the photos!
