Jackie and I had an awesome time last Saturday at Sherry & Jim’s wedding at Misty Lake Lodge in Gimli, Manitoba. The day started off with some rain, but it stopped literally minutes before the ceremony. The sun shone down on us for the rest of the day, giving us the perfect light for great photos. Everyone was in a great mood, and we spent a lot of the day laughing with Sherry & Jim’s family and friends.

As I mentioned in the previous post, last Saturday we had the pleasure of spending the day with Laura, Dennis, and their daughter Ava for their wedding in Gimli, Manitoba. The weather co-operated, and it turned out to be a beautiful day to get married. Their ceremony took place at St. Michael’s Church, and the reception was held at the Lakeview Resort, both in Gimli. In between, we were able to get the newlyweds out to Camp Morton Park for some fun and romantic photos. There was no shortage of laughter and joking around, (the groomsmen were particularly pleased with their white socks) and we ended the day with a rockin’ party DJ’d by Glenn Senga of KKF Music Services. I have some great exciting news! As you can see in our previous post, being able to do what we love and being environmentally responsible about it is very important to Jackie and I. With that in mind, we were looking for a super special eco-friendly photo album to top off the list. Not too long ago we announced our new online store at http://affleckphoto.com/store. It is cram packed full of cool new products like watercolor fine art and canvas prints, but that’s not the only cool thing going on!
Jackie and I take our environmental responsibility very seriously; In fact, just a few years ago we sold our cars and replaced them with vehicles that run on clean burning biofuel made from post-consumer recycled plant material. Naturally we were super excited to learn that our new print supplier is exclusively using non-toxic, environmentally friendly inks and pigments to create all of their photo prints.
